Who can join as a solver?

We welcome problem solving talent from a wide range of backgrounds — whether you’ve built companies, worked in strategy, or have developed deep expertise and knowledge in a particular niche, sector or industry. This could be through academia, and / or professional experience. If you enjoy tackling complex problems and sharing your knowledge, you could be a great fit.

Do I need prior consulting experience?

Not at all. Some of our solvers have worked at top consultancies, but many come from industry, startups, or academia. What matters most is your expertise and your ability to think clearly and help organisations solve real challenges.

What kind of projects could I be involved in?

Projects vary widely: helping a company expand into new markets, refining a business model, aligning teams around strategy, or providing specialist industry insights. We’ll connect you with opportunities that match your skills and interests, but you’re free to apply to any projects that you believe you could add value.

How flexible is the commitment?

Very flexible. You decide when and how you’d like to get involved, signaling when applying to projects how many hours you can commit. Some solvers take on short, focused projects that last a few days, while others engage in longer assignments alongside their existing work.

How does payment work?

We agree on any prizes, benefits and fees together before each project starts. Rates are transparent, and distributed based on the value of your contribution.

Will I work alone or with others?

Both options are possible. Some projects need one expert, others benefit from a team. We’ll make sure you know the setup in advance so you can decide what works best for you.

What support will I receive?

From an administrative side we handle client relationships, contracts, and all documentation so you can focus on problem-solving. You’ll also be part of a growing community of solvers who share ideas and opportunities. You’ll also have access to our patented Wise Owl digital assistant, verified knowledge hub and premium content subscriptions.

How do I get started?

It’s simple — apply to join our solver network. Once you’re on board, we’ll reach out with projects that fit your expertise and availability.
